Flash looks great - no doubt - but you really have to evaluate the practical value between visual appeal and link-worthy content. We try to explain to clients, as simply as possible, that share-worthy content is far more important than a "killer" flash design. We try to house the discussion in the context of "Is it better to rely on a superfly flash animation to get links...or a well constructed, informative, share-worthy article?" They sure do look great and I love them for that but the owners of these sites are never happy when the SEO Consultant comes along and says hmm well I hate to tell you this but your web site is the main reason your not getting traffic.
