So I just moved hosts, transferred DNS and everything today with a real minimal amount of outage. Went well, I do say so myself. No scramble, just a simple tar and mysql operation, ftp, untar and another mysql operation on the other end. Had I remembered to to edit the config file for the DB connection, would have probably had no outage. Hopefully my old portfolio pages survived, too… pretty low priority compared to the blog though.

Not sure how my analytics and everything else will come along, but I guess I’ll take those lumps as I get them.
